Our Pricing Model
At Camp Abegweit we use a tier-based system where families can choose the tier that best works for them. We want to emphasize that the tier you choose will not impact the camp experience. The amount paid will be on a "need to know basis." and kept fully confidential by our registrar and board.

Tier Descriptions

This rate is highly subsidized and doesn't cover all costs associated with sending your child to camp.

This rate is partly subsidized, allows those who can pay a little more but still cannot afford the actual cost of camp.

This tier closely reflects the actual cost of camp, including the wear and tear of buildings and grounds.
For those families who need a higher level of support than Tier 1 provides, please reach out to our Executive Director for information about our financial assistance program.
Day Camps
Day camps are available Monday to Friday for our 7-12 camps, and Monday to Wednesday for our 5-7 camp.

Family Camps
The $350 rate for family camp covers up to a family of 4. Each additional person attending camp is $50.

Cheques can be made payable to “Camp Abegweit” and mailed to Po Box 47, Winsloe, PEI, C1E 1Z2.

Payments via e-transfer can be sent to camp campabbypayment@gmail.com. Please put your child’s name in the notes.

Upon registration you can select to pay via credit card. You will have two options “Credit Card” or “Credit Card (Return to Pay).” By selecting “Credit Card” you will be choosing to pay your full balance upon registration. If you choose “Credit Card (Return to Pay),” you be able to return later to complete your payment.
Refund Policy
If your child does not attend camp after registering, the following policy regarding refunds will apply:
* Notification within ten (10) days prior to your child’s scheduled camp, 80% refund. After this deadline, no refund will be given.
* An appeal to the ruling may be made in writing to the Board for consideration by September 15 of that camping year.
